River & June — Returns & Refunds

OUR COMMITMENT

Buying clothing online should feel straightforward and secure. If your order isn’t exactly what you expected, we’ll do our best to make the return process simple and transparent.


30-DAY RETURN WINDOW

You may request a return within 30 days after your package has been delivered.

To qualify for a return, items must be:

  • Returned in original condition with tags and packaging included
  • Free from makeup, perfume, deodorant, or other marks
  • Unwashed and not altered in any way
  • Only tried on briefly for sizing purposes

Trying on your item is completely fine. We simply ask that it’s returned in the same condition you received it.


HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN

To begin a return, email us at support@riverandjune.com and include:

  • Your order number
  • The reason for your return request

Once approved, we’ll send you the return instructions and return address.

Please do not send items back without prior approval, as unauthorized returns cannot be processed.

📦 We recommend using a tracked shipping method for all returns. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. River & June is not responsible for parcels lost during return transit.


DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT ITEMS

Please check your order upon arrival. If you receive an item that is damaged, faulty, or incorrect, contact us immediately at support@riverandjune.com so we can resolve the issue as quickly as possible.


NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Gift cards
  • Personalized or made-to-order products
  • Beauty and personal care items
  • Products marked as “Final Sale”
  • Items that have been worn, washed, damaged, or altered after delivery

Please note: discounted items may still be returned unless specifically marked as Final Sale on the product page.

If you’re unsure whether your item is eligible, contact us before shipping it back.


EXCHANGES

If you’d prefer a different size, color, or style, we’re happy to help arrange an exchange.

To request one, email support@riverandjune.com with:

  • Your order number
  • The item you would like in exchange

After your return has been approved and inspected, we’ll process the exchange for a flat $10 exchange handling fee.

Please keep in mind:

  • Returned items must meet all standard return conditions
  • Exchange requests must be submitted within the same 30-day return period
  • If the replacement item costs more, you’ll be charged the price difference plus the $10 handling fee
  • If the replacement item costs less, the remaining balance will be refunded to your original payment method

EUROPEAN UNION CUSTOMERS

For orders shipped within the European Union, customers have the legal right to cancel or return an order within 14 days of delivery for any reason.

Returned items must still comply with the eligibility conditions listed above.


REFUND PROCESS

After your return arrives and passes inspection, we’ll notify you by email regarding the status of your refund.

Approved refunds

If approved, your refund will be issued back to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note that banks and payment providers may require additional processing time before the funds appear in your account.

Delayed refunds

If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you still haven’t received it, contact us at support@riverandjune.com and we’ll investigate the issue promptly.
